Sorry you can not select a day and delete it as this would interfere with the need to have an entry for each day. You can edit any of the records at any time - simply scroll through the list and double click on the field you want to edit.
Click on the 'Update Table' button to make any changes and refresh the list.
What is RMR?
RMR is Resting Metabolic Rate. This is the amount of energy you require when resting for a day.
It is your Basal Metabolic Rate multiplied by a number such as 1.3. Your basal metabolic rate is the energy you would require if you were lying down doing nothing al all. See Information and Calculator and Resting Metabolic Rate It depends on your sex, height, weight and age. The Resting Metabolic Rate is more useful as it includes what you do each day except for the extra energy required for a run, walk or swim - i.e. the extra things you do to lose weight. See Resting Metabolic Rate and BMR and RMR Calculator.
Once you estimate your RMR this will be equivalent to the amount of energy you need in food to sustain your needs. To lose weight you need to eat less than your RMR, or undertake exercise that will burn extra calories. The best approach is to do both ! Eat less and exercise more !
It's more complicated than this see Extra Information, because your body may try to reduce its metabolic rate when you eat less and exercise ( see Article 1; Article 2 ; Article 3 , but this is the basic principle.
